Is the Netflix documentary on Martha worth watching?

Hi Desiree, I did not leap to watch it when it was released as I am not really a fan of hers. But, it’s an interesting story that does shed some light on the roots of her perfectionism and over-achieving. It was also a replay of the decades I lived through that are now “history” and I enjoyed that. I am still amazed at Martha’s partnership with Snoop. I think they have great synergy and seem to really like each other.

I get that. I think I was multi-tasking when it started but it pulled me in when it described her time as a stockbroker on Wall St. I had idea!

Thanks for such an insightful article, Sarah. I’m glad that Martha has finally embraced her true self, with all its imperfections. We all have to do this at some time in our lives. Perhaps Martha was taught to appear “perfect” when she was younger. What a burden that must have been to carry. Now she can have a laugh, be silly and not care what people think of her. It’s good to see.
